About The Project

The client sought an independent expert to calculate the Grid Emission Factor (GEF) for Malawi and develop a tool for ongoing GEF calculations. Responsibilities included utilising the latest UNFCCC tool to calculate emission factors, developing a user‑friendly tool for continuous GEF monitoring and reporting, and providing technical guidance and support throughout the calculation process to ensure adherence to official standards.
